My new fairing is designed strictly for weather
protection. However, with it I went 1 mph faster
than last year, despite ice conditions that had
everyone else 1-4 mph slower than 2002.
I would have expected Dave Siskind's fairing to
slow him down. But based on some unscientific
coast down comparisons, it actually seems to help.
